A Nobel Laureate’s Noble Pursuit


In June, Elken brought to Malaysia and Singapore one of 20th century’s most prolific medical professors – Professor Dr Ferid Murad. Dr Murad’s distinguished career in the field of medical research and pharmacology has won him numerous accolades and honorary degrees from renowned universities worldwide.

While visiting this region, Dr Murad presented his discovery and research papers in the National Heart Institute (NHI), National University of Singapore (NUS) and in Elken. He shared not only his personal research but also the latest scientific research revolving around the many functions of nitrix oxide (NO) in the human body with hundreds of medical practitioners, medical students, health editors and jounalists, healthcare providers and Elken distributors.
